Stardust Dreams is my first romance novel, although romance has been an essential ingredient in all my novels. Mystery, suspense, and a murderous villains are fun to create and write about, but life isn’t always about monsters. Sometimes, we need dreams and adventure to warm and soothe our stressed out minds.
Here are three of its most recent reviews:
The Book Faerie – “This was an interesting read. You never really know where the author is going with the story and it doesn’t sound like anything I’ve read before. (I read a book a day, so that’s saying something.) You have sharp mouthed old lady, an easy going and trusting astronaut and they meet up with an alien culture that lives forever and is bored. The earth artifacts they bring with them fascinate the aliens and they mimic the humans they see in films or pictures. Lance’s plans don’t all work out but it does have a happy ending. I prefer those. I bet you can’t predict how this will turn out either. I sure couldn’t.”
Mixed Book Bag – “Look for some common themes with some very unusual twists. The main characters are not your norm but they work very well with the story. This is a very well written story with a plot that held my attention from the first page to the last. There is tension, danger, laughter, and romance all wrapped up in a very nicely told story.”
Libriamicimiai Blogspot – “The sci-fi is not my favorite genre but I liked this story: is about the ability to not give up, if you really believe in something and fight hard for it, any dream can become reality. Lance meets his heirs: he is a man of about 200,000 years old. He wanted to survive death by exploring other planets, convinced that intelligence superior alien is able to create eternity. He studied hard, he managed to create a rocket that launched him into space and so has survived so much. During this novel, he tells grandchildren how and with terminal cancer has succeeded in his business and how much was essential the help of Sage Saint Charles. I enjoyed this book, original and exciting history, really well written. The pace is fast and engaging, thanks to short sentences, the plot was well developed as were the characters, excellent descriptions. Surely I will read other jobs of Redstone.” 4 Stars
Lance Forrester is a dreamer. After a celebrated career as an astronaut and engineer, he and a friend built a secret spacecraft to seek their destinies in the stars. But, his friend died. Now that Lance has terminal cancer, he hopes to convince Sage who he hasn’t seen since high school, to join him on his quest to reach an advanced alien civilization and immortality.
Sage Saint Charles lived a wild and notorious life in Hollywood before she descended into obscurity as a social recluse. Sage has regrets, more regrets than a person should have. When her drowsy eyes open, in hospice care, an unfamiliar old man is standing at her bedside.
Stardust Dreams is a love story. This unique tale of hope and faith is so realistic you just might feel you’ve gone along on their madcap adventure into the galaxy. Unfortunately, true life is not a child’s fairy tale. If Lance and Sage are to achieve their happiness , they must first overcome the emotional scars of their pasts. With every turn of the page, you’ll delight in the fascination and mystery of unknown worlds and destinies.
